Our first She Shoots Collective weekend in France is here. ♡
We’re taking just 12 women away for a long weekend of clay shooting, French wine, incredible food and countryside living, all centred around our beautiful private home for the weekend – Domaine Les Racines in Croix-Moligneaux.
This isn’t just somewhere to sleep between activities. We’ve chosen an incredible French country house where we can properly settle in for the weekend, eat together, have drinks, get ready together and enjoy having the entire property as our own SSC home away from home.
🏡 Our Home for the Weekend – Domaine Les Racines
For two nights, we’ll have the beautiful Domaine Les Racines exclusively for our group.
Set in the Picardie countryside, the house has nine bedrooms and plenty of space for our small group of just 12 guests, giving us the perfect setting for a relaxed weekend away.
Think slow mornings in the French countryside, drinks at the house, getting ready together before dinner and coming home after a day of shooting and wine tasting to our own private country retreat.
On Friday evening, there’s no need to go anywhere. Once everyone has arrived and settled into their rooms, we’ll kick off the weekend with a private chef coming to the house to prepare dinner exclusively for us.
This is very much part of the experience – not simply accommodation.
Friday – Arrive, Settle In & Private Chef Dinner
Arrive in France and make your way to Domaine Les Racines, where you can unpack, explore the house, meet the rest of the group and settle in for the weekend.
That evening we’ll gather at the house for drinks followed by a private chef dinner, prepared for our group in the comfort of our French home.
The perfect first evening to get to know everyone before Saturday’s adventures.
Saturday – Clay Shooting in France
On Saturday morning, our private group transfer will collect us directly from Domaine Les Racines and take us to the shooting ground at Le Dièvre, Sains-lès-Marquion.
We’ll spend the morning clay pigeon shooting, with everything organised for you, including gun hire, cartridges, clays and the required French shooting licence.
Complete beginners are very welcome and English-speaking tuition will be available, so you don’t need any previous shooting experience or your own shotgun.
After shooting, we’ll enjoy hospitality at the ground before our driver collects us for the next part of the day.
🍷 A Private French Vineyard Experience
From the shooting ground, we’ll travel together to a local family-run vineyard for our own private vineyard experience.
Hosted in English by the estate’s founder and winemaker, we’ll spend approximately three hours discovering the vineyard, including time amongst the vines, a visit to the winery and ageing cellar, and a guided tasting of several of the estate’s wines.
We’ll then settle in for an informal French dinner of generous local charcuterie and cheese boards accompanied by wine, followed by dessert and coffee.
After an afternoon and evening of wine and food, our private driver will take us all back to Domaine Les Racines.
Sunday – One Last Morning at the House
Wake up for one final slow morning at our French countryside home before checking out and making your way home.

Choose Your Stay
Twin / Shared Room – £525 per person
Your own single bed in a twin/shared bedroom. Come with a friend and share together, or join us solo and we’ll pair you with another SSC guest.
Private Double Room – £625 per person
Enjoy the luxury of having your own private double bedroom at Domaine Les Racines for the entire weekend.
Private rooms are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Getting There
Travel from the UK to France and transfers to/from Domaine Les Racines are not included, giving guests the flexibility to arrange whichever route works best for them.
We’ll share travel information with the group ahead of the weekend so anyone wishing to coordinate their journey with other guests can do so.
Beginners Are Very Welcome ♡
You don’t need a shotgun licence, your own gun or any previous clay shooting experience to come.
This weekend is about bringing women together to experience the very best of the countryside – whether you’re already an experienced shot or you’ve never picked up a shotgun before.
